Tax Information

We are required by U.S. Law to collect tax-related information from ALL Latitude partners (e.g. Advisors, Affiliates, and Pubishers) that we pay commissions to, including those based outside of the United States. We are unable to and will not send payments to you until all of your tax information has been received by Latitude.

For tax reporting purposes, Latitude Partners fall into one of three main tax categories:

  • U.S. Business: The payee is based in, and pays taxes in, the United States.
  • Non U.S. Business (No U.S. Locations or Activities): The payee's operations related to participation in LatitudeU are based entirely outside of the U.S., and payee does not pay taxes in the U.S.
  • Non U.S. Business with U.S. Activities: The payee is based outside of the U.S., but has equipment or employees in the U.S. that are involved with payee's participation in LatitudeU.

Your tax information is being collected in compliance with U.S. tax laws, and will be securely stored and used for tax purposes only.

We've provided the tax information above as general guidance only. However, it is up to each partner to understand and adhere to the appropriate tax rules from their taxing authorities. Any tax-related information provided by Latitude is not intended as and should not be construed as legal, tax, or investment advice.
